like my last post, it has been a while since i entered anything. Time goes by and next thing you know it has beena couple of months. Anyhow, slow pitch softball season is about to start and we have a team entered into the league once again. It is looking like we will have another good team this year and we may even challenge for the league lead again. We lost a few players this year but we picked up a few as well. Either way it will be a fun year and a time to hang out with people we don’t normally see much. Should be fun. I will let you know how we are doing more as the season gets under way.
In other news, Julian is over 14lbs now and still growing like a little monster. It’s fun to watch his growth, which by the way, is much quicker than Jaxon was. This could be due to the fact that he is made up of half fat. hehe. But seriously, he is a big boy and I am really proud to have 2 great little boys our family. Talk to you all soon.

I went to a hockey game between the Detroit Red Wings and the Vancouver Canucks on Saturday. I went with a friend of mine and while the game itself was fun and interesting to watch (not to mention the overall speed and grace that the players had), it was the people in the stands that made the biggest impression on me. To our left, we had a couple guys who, though sober, should have been admitted to rehab for Turrets Syndrome. It seemed as though every other word was a foul-mouthed diatribe against either the Red Wing players or even his own ‘beloved’ Canuck players. Now, I am not one to cuss people out but this fellow needed some serious anger management help. What really got to me was that this was a family oriented event and here is a couple loser’s who think it is their right to profanely treat people who they have never met nor ever will meet.
My question, I guess, is what right do people like this have to behave and treat others this way? Why is it that we treat others so cruelly and maliciously while thinking we have that right?
Secondly, it seems strange that we feel entirely comfortable cheering and screaming for our ‘team’ yet when it comes to our hope in the Lord, we are downcast, reserved and almost depressed. Don’t get me wrong, I myself am quite conservative and reserved (I am not even that excitable when it comes to my hockey team, though even I get worked up sometimes after a pretty goal) but shouldn’t we be excited like that about the hope that the Lord has given us as evangelical Christians. (A majority of people in North America say they are Christians nowadays but [and I am not one to judge but the Bible does say you will know them by their fruit] I think alot of ‘christians’ will have a hard reckoning when they stand face to face with the Almighty God. See Matt. 7:15-23. ‘Nuff said.

Well Jaxon is officially a big boy now, to go along with his tornado-like tendancies. He has graduated on to the big-boy bed and seems like he may take a while getting used to it. We’ll see.
Julian also got weighed in today and came in at an amazing 12lbs. I don’t know but I think if he keeps up this pace, he may outweigh me by the time he hits 3 or 4 years old. haha. Anyway, tis getting late here so I think i will call it a night.
By the way, sorry bout the long time between posts. I have been preoccupied lately and haven’t thought much about this site. I will try to keep better tabs on it though. *crosses fingers*
Talk soon.
